DELE (Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera - Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language) are official Spanish as a Foreign Language qualifications awarded by the Cervantes Institute on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education, Social Policies and Sports. They are recognised worldwide and are available to all non-Spanish citizens who wish to validate their Spanish language skills (candidates should be at least 16 years-old to sit for the Superior / Proficiency Level). Students who have passed the Proficiency level 'Nivel Superior' (C2) are exempted from taking language entrance examinations in Spanish and a number of European universities.

According  to his/her level, your child will:

  • develop proficiency, fluency, accuracy and confidence;
  • learn to communicate in Spanish appropriately in a range of contexts and for a variety of purposes;
  • extend his/her competence in reading comprehension and writing;
  • become familiar with the structure and general content of the examinations through guided practice with sample tests - with appropriate marking and performance reports.

He/she will grow naturally in self-confidence as a result of the experience, and will raise his/her level of Spanish to new heights.
